Last month we posted about an imminent release from LAST BASTION RECORDS – a three track vinyl 7” from MONICA ROCHA featuring her versions of three classic soul songs … Barbara Lewis’ ‘Hello Stranger’ (a duet with Malik Mano), Mary Wells’ ’The One Who Really Loves You’ and Betty Wright’s ‘Tonight Is The Night’. Monica treats the songs with respect and they’re perfect for the whole Chicano/Low Rider vibe scene.
