HELL OF A SINGER!

ANDREW HELLER is US easy-listening/lounge jazz singer who deserves a better headline that the one up top here!

He’s currently making waves with his latest album … ‘Sinatra My Way’, released originally to celebrate ol’ blue eyes centenary. Unlike many Sinatra tribute albums, Andrew’s set out to make his different by not trying to impersonate the great man; rather he chooses to present Sinatra favourites in his own special way (hence the title!).

However to keep that all important “feel” authentic, Heller has enlisted the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, now conducted by Nelson’s son, Christopher. Between them they offer new treatments of Sinatra classics like ‘Night and Day’, ‘My Kind of Town,’ ‘In The Wee Small Hours,’ ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’ and ‘The Way You Look Tonight’. Right now we’re liking Mr. H’s warm tenor treatment of ‘Summer Wind’ but everyone will find their own favourites!

ANDREW HELLER’S ‘SINATRA MY WAY’ is out now.
