Californian singer SOPHIE BROMBERG is new to us but in the US she’s made a name for herself via her appearances on the American version of ‘The Voice’. Aged just 16, she wowed all the judges and the TV audiences. Now she debuts with a single that is a very tasty mid-tempo groove that sits sweetly on the cusp of soul and pop. The song is ‘Lately’ – self-penned, it’s a remarkably mature affair for someone so young; as indeed is the performance.
