BROOKE BAILEY is an aspiring UK singer/songwriter. A graduate of The Brit School of Performing Arts, for her brand new single she’s teamed up with another upcoming name on the Brit soul and R&B scene- ASHTON RUSSELL.
Between they’re delivering a very clever and catchy spin on the 1980 BARBRA STREISAND/BARRY GIBB ‘Guilty’. It’s a big song with a classy pedigree but the but the young duo aren’t phased by all that. They just get stuck in and do what they know they do best – deliver the song in their own soulful way. There’s an evident synergy between the pair and they craft something different from something very familiar.
Brooke says: “This project has been a labour of love for us. We wanted to honour the essence of the original while infusing it with our own creativity and energy. Working with Direction Recordingz has been an incredible experience, and we’re thrilled to share the result with the world.”
Ashton adds: “The magic of ‘Guilty’ lies in its timeless appeal, and we aimed to preserve that while adding our own modern twist. We’re grateful to Direction Recordingz for their support and guidance throughout this journey.”
