The UK’s SHAILA PROSPERE is a London-based soulstress. She impressed the soul crowd with her 2017 album ‘Back To Life’. That was followed by the singles ‘Plus One’, ‘You’re Rich’ and ‘Let’s Be’ while last year her lovely ‘Emotions’ (in a whole variety of mixes) kept her name right up there!
That onwards and upwards trajectory is set to continue with her latest single – a lovely, insinuating ‘Faith’. Produced by Rickstar, her people tell us that ‘Faith’ “offers fans a sonic experience they didn’t know they needed”. Don’t know about that but this ‘Faith’ is one of a helluva tune! Sweet and floating on ethereal harmonies, it’s a proper winter warmer for these cold, damp dark days. The star of the show is Shaila’s gorgeous voice that simply caresses the lyric with a classic soulful knowingness. The track’s good to go Friday 13th January. You’d be a fool to miss it!
