It’s been a while but the lovely BRAND NEW HEAVIES are back! And how – they’ve just unleashed a fab, brand new single ‘Getaway’ that sees founder members Andrew Levy and Simon Bartholomew teaming up once more with N’Dea Davenport.
Ms D is on her usual fine soulful form while the boys craft a luscious and mellow soundscape for her to float her vocals on. They even include a fiery brass sample that adds to the intrigue and to maintain the reunion theme, the single is out on Acid Jazz Records – with whom the BNHs enjoyed plenty of previous success!
