Last year we were delighted to have Ann Nesby back with us. She fronted a big dance tune – ‘Jam’ which was credited to the self-proclaimed “vocalist/dancer/choreographer/music producer hailing from Gary, Indiana”, EMKAYBE.
We learned that EmKayBe was actually Merrick Buckingham who after a stint in the US Navy, began working in music production and ‘Jam’ is his biggest claim to fame right now.
Mr Buckingham tells us that he he’s currently working on a new EP… ‘Something New’, from which he’s just released the first single – a pacey dance item, ‘Fever’. Sadly it doesn’t feature the artistry of Ann Nesby, but it’s out now.
