Geordie band SOULUTIONS get into their 2022 stride with a lovely, contemporary dancer, ‘Good Time’. Bright and breezy it’s a throwback to their early days when they wowed the soul community with stuff like ‘Philly Line’ and ‘I Got To Party’.
On ‘Good Time’ (yes, the clues to the tune’s vibe is in the title), Soulutions prove once again that you don’t need to be clever and complicated to make effective soul music. Steve Lee handles the production and arrangements with his usual plomb and the lovely Louise (Meehan) is in fine form… little Ms Consistent!
