The lovely JB ROSE won’t mind us calling her a soul veteran. She’s been around since the 80s – performing, recording, writing (she wrote ‘Brothers and Sisters’ the UK’s first black soap drama for the BBC) and running her own YOUTUBE channel.
In 2020 she got back into the studio and impressed with ‘Back To Love’ which was followed by ‘Gold’ – a song aimed to cheer us up through the various lockdowns. Now like all good tunes, ‘Gold’ has won remix status, giving it a whole new lease of life and energy. The mix is dubbed “the 2b3 Rare Groove” mix – 2b3 being an alter ego for producer/writer Neville Thomas. Mr. T co-wrote ‘Gold’ and here he offers a fresh perspective channelling the work he’s done with people like Beverly Knight. Out now!
