ZARA McFARLANE has a new single out on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood label. It’s called ‘East Of The River,’ a soulful version of a classic song by reggae maestro Augustus Pablo (the title cut from his 1977 album of the same name) that finds the MOBO award-winning London jazz chanteuse collaborating with legendary producer, Dennis Bovell. Stylistically, the new single continues from where her 2017 album ‘Arise’ left off.
