CAFE 432 are a London-based house duo (Jonesy and Kevin McPherson) and their various past accolades include working with MJ Cole, Tinie Tempah, Tinchi Stryder, Professor Green, Bon Garcon, Craig David, the Ministry of Sound and someone called Cliff Richard! (Honest)
The pair have just released a new single that’s already shaping up to be one of summer 2015’s big Soulful House anthems.
The ditty’s called ‘I Got U’ and the beats are tighter than tight but the cut’s big attraction is the smooth, falsetto vocal that really does emphasises the delicious melody on the hooks. Soulful it sure is and the modern soul crew could do worse than to investigate this little gem, which, by the way, is out now on Soundstate Recordings
