ADI OASIS (who used to perform and record as Adeline) is a French-Caribbean music multi tasker. Singer, songwriter, bassist, producer… there’s not a lot she can’t turn her hand to. She cites her chief influences as Erykah Badu and Esperanza Spalding and you can hear traces of both on Adi’s new single which pairs ‘Get It, Got It’ with ‘Adonis’.
The former is a busy, brassy contemporary neo soul groove with a catchy chorus while ‘Adonis’ is equally good – a slightly slower tempo, but just as infectious. This one features guest input from Minneapolis singer Kirby (who’s previously penned songs for Rhianna!)
