Soul and dance maestro RANDY MULLER has enjoyed a real renaissance over the last few years. The brains behind bands like Brass Construction, Skyy, BT Express, and First Circle, in recent times, he’s surfaced with Brooklyn Groove Machine, Randy Muller’s Boom Chang Bang and Brooklyn Soul Biscuits.
And it’s under the BROOKLYN SOUL BISCUITS banner that he releases his latest single – a wonderful, upbeat, and optimistic ‘Funky Holiday’. The title says it all really – yep, this is a funky paean to Christmas tide. Tight beats, slammin’ horns, infectious hooks – it’s all in there and across four mixes (Jolly Horny, Horny Radio, Jolly Radio and Funky Horny) you also get to enjoy plenty of sleigh bells, Santa’s ho-hos and various other cool Yule effects.
