Master guitarist NORMAN BROWN is all set to release his latest album…. ‘The Highest Act Of Love’. The label is Shanachie and the focus track is a cover of the DENIECE WILLIAMS’ classic ‘Free’ … and to add authenticity to his rendition, Mr Brown had drafted in the still-lovely and sweet-voiced Ms Williams to deliver the vocals. There’s not too much difference between this new version and the venerable classic. It’s a wee bit cooler, “chilled” even and, of course, you get plenty of tasty jazz guitar licks from good ‘ole Norm!
