Motown’s two legendary long-running vocal groups, THE FOUR TOPS (pictured left) and THE TEMPTATIONS (pictured below), will be back on the road again together in the UK during March and April of next year. There are ten concert dates in all and on each one they’ll be supported by special guests, veteran vocal group, THE PLATTERS, and Detroit chanteuse, FREDA ‘BAND OF GOLD’ PAYNE.
Abdul ‘Duke’ Fakir of The Four Tops and Otis Williams of The Temptations (the only surviving original members of both groups) are both looking forward to their forthcoming UK sojourn: “We love playing in the UK, the audiences are the best in the world,” they say. “We’re really looking forward to sharing our music with you, together with The Platters and Freda Payne who are joining us this time around. We hope you’ll enjoy the shows as much as we will.“
