JOY DENALANE is accepted as Germany’s top soul singer. While we wait for the official September UK release of her acclaimed Motown album, ‘Let Yourself Be Loved’, Ms D is set to treat us to a new single as a taster. Tune in question is a big, building, dramatic soul outing, ‘Forever’.
Joy says: “The song was quite a challenge. The melody and arrangement have less of my signature than many of the songs on the album. I deliberately wanted to write something that theoretically other artists could also sing. Something classic.”
