Latest release from the FOOL’S PARADISE label is an energized dance track from JAY VEGAS – (no relation to Johnny by the way!). This Mr V is a leading light on contemporary disco-house scene and he’s worked with people like David Morales, Mousse T, Norman Cook, Danny Rampling, Grant Nelson and, of course, Mark Knight (head boy @ Fool’s Paradise).
Jay’s new offering is a full-on Sunshine People’ which is actually a riff on Brass Construction’s 1977 classic, ‘Happy People’. So as you’d guess it’s big, brassy and bulky. It’s relentless (In the best possible way) and a wonderful tribute to the sadly undervalued Brass Construction!
