Alexander O’Neal, the Natchez, Mississippi-born singer who rose to fame in the vanguard of the Minneapolis sound in the 1980s, is lined up to perform at London’s premier intimate nightspot, Quaglino’s, in Mayfair, on Thursday 27th July.

The singer, whose hit singles include ‘Criticize,’ ‘Fake,’ and his signature ballad, ‘If You Were Here Tonight,’ is also remembered for ‘Saturday Love,’ and ‘Never Knew Love Like This,’ his passionate duets with Cherrelle.

Quaglino’s will also be hosting two other soul legends this summer – George McCrae and ex-Rose Royce singer, Gwen Dickey.
