GINNY BROWN and the COLLECTIVE are a UK band operating in and around the Mansfield area and are a popular attraction at wedding and other such functions. We’re told they regularly fill party floors with their take on pop, disco and soul. Latterly they’ve enjoyed radio play and soul chart action with the breezy tune ‘Deja Vu’ .
The team now follow that with a double A sided single that pairs ‘Love Fool’ with ‘Starlight’. Both deliver the same beat-fuelled , optimistic old-fashioned sound that harks back to the days of mainstream disco. ’Starlight’ by the way has been mixed by maestro, Nigel Lowis who worked his special magic on ‘Déjà Vu’.
