We’ve featured Estonian soul and funk band LEXSOUL DANCEMACHINE here several times in the last few years and now their main man, ROBERT LINNA is helping out new(ish) SILKY STEPS. This band is an unashamed disco outfit and they’re currently putting the finishing touches to an album, ‘Universal Language’.
The lead single’s just been released and it’s a light, disco dancer, ‘Fly, Goodbye’ on whch Mr Linna guests. We’re told that the inspiration behind the track was Silver Convention’s ‘Fly Robin Fly’ but synthesised through a Silk Sonic vibe. File under “interesting”; listen up to some surprising jazz instrumental breaks.
It’s out ow via Funk Embassy Records.
