‘We Can Fly’ is the latest single from one of London’s best disco bands – THE NITESHIFTERS. The band got together just last year under the guidance of producer Ed Moris whose aim was to blend classic soul, disco and funk flavours into a modern twist on the fab glitter ball sound.

Right now the Niteshifters are – vocalists Khadija Jajue, Elliott May, Faye Streek; Ed Moris (Keys), Ollie Raphael (Drums), Laurence Bryar (Guitars), Ben Jones (Bass), Toby Street and Nacho Stax (Horns) and Julian De Metz (Percussion). They already have one long player to their name…. ‘Huge Disco’ and that just about sums up the feel of this new single!

‘We Can Fly’ is packed with sweeping strings, biting guitars, jazzy keys and big, big vocals. The song (you’ve guessed) comes in all kinds of mixes. We love the original (just a hint of Chic); then there’s a more pounding Dr Packer mix and a gimmicky Simon Tellier tweak – full of French flavour.
