Latest release from the always-busy LUKAS SETTO is an energized ‘Glowing Up’. Lukas tells us that the tune was inspired by his love of 90s hip-hop – thus the booming bass line, the insistent drum loops and the use of familiar samples that you know but can’t quite pin down. There’s also some rapping input from Las Vegas’ Julisa but her smooth flowing rhyming is totally organic – so you conservative soulies don’t need to panic!
‘Glowing Up’ is a proper feel good cut. The vibe is uplifting and the song’s a perfect vehicle for Mr S’s soulful voice . There’s positivity all round here… recommended!
