It’s just 12 months since Universal issued a wonderful five CD boxed set that celebrated the early career of the ever-wonderful GEORGIE FAME.

Now, that set is being followed up with an equally monumental offering… ‘SURVIVAL’ A CAREER ANTHOLOGY 1963 – 2015′. The new box has six discs featuring 110 tracks (18 previously unreleased), spanning more than five decades and taking in all Georgie’s hit singles as well as notable B-sides, rarities (including his very first instrumental recordings as a band leader) and alternative mix of the much loved blue eyed soul dancer ‘Daylight’.

The box set comes complete with a 48-page hardback book that features extensive liner notes and a new interview with Georgie by Paolo Hewitt, as well as many unseen photographs,

‘SURVIVAL’ A CAREER ANTHOLOGY 1963 – 2015′ is released by UMC ON NOV 25 and Georgie will be performing live with the Guy Baker Big Band at Ronnie Scott’s between 26 – 29 October.
