The ever dependable EXPANSION soul label is currently celebrating a remarkable 30 years as a modern soul brand leader!
The focus of the anniversary year is set to be a big, big soul night at the Brooklyn Bowl in Greenwich’s O2 complex. The show will feature two headline acts … ALTON McCLAIN and TRACY HAMLIN. They’ll be supported by a huge live band and during the proceedings the audience will enjoy a very special musical tribute to Skip Scarborough. DJs on the night will include Terry Jones, Bobby and Steve, Luke Howard and, naturally, Expansion head honcho, Ralph Tee.
It all happens on Friday 30th September and tickets are priced at just £25. You can find out more @ www.mcexpansion30.eventbrite.co.uk
To tie in with the show Expansion is releasing new music on Tracy Hamlin (see our recent news item) and reissuing a pair of Alton McClain albums in a 2 for 1 pack, while the 2016 edition of ‘Soul Togetherness’ is out on the same day as the show… Friday 30th September.
