EVEN MORE DÉJÀ VU

Recently busy old RANDY MULLER commissioned a wonderful new mix of his BROOKLYN GROOVE MACHINE’S ‘Déjà Vu’. This new tweak – “the Baby Powder” mix from Yvonne Turner  (who avid sleeve readers will know has worked on mixes for Whitney Houston, Loleatta Holloway, Willie Colon and many more) clocked in at an epic ten minute plus – each one a head nodding, foot tapping delight.

Some felt that for radio, the full ten minutes might have  been a tad too long, so Mr M and his team have trimmed it down to a more programmable 6 minutes – still sounds good though… pumping 80s synth bass, Turner’s classic driving, dubby percussive vibe topped with syncopated jazzy piano work by Lenny Underwood and the same sizzling vocal. Out now via Plaza Records.
