On September 25th, Rhino/Warner Jazz reissue a stellar retrospective covering an important five-year period during the 1970s in the career of legendary master jazz-rock-funk drummer, BILLY COBHAM.
Titled ‘The Atlantic Years 1973-1978,’ the 77-track box set is comprised of eight CDs that include the classic albums ‘Spectrum,’ ‘Crosswinds,’ ‘Total Eclipse,’ ‘Shabazz,’ ‘A Funky Thide Of Sings,’ and ‘Life and Times,’ plus his 1976 collaboration with GEORGE DUKE, ‘Live On Tour In Europe.’ The set comes with bonus material and liner notes.
