Latest single from UK muso CHRIS KINGDON is a dreamy, ethereal, jazzy instrumental ‘Lonnie’s Dream’. It’s a complex affair garnished with some lovely trumpet from Kenny Wellington of Light Of The World. We’re loving the cool vibraphone solo too!
‘Lonnie’s Dream’ clocks in at just under five and a half minutes and it really does recall those heady 70s Brit jazz-funk instrumentals. Chris tells us that the Lonnie of the title is Lonnie Liston Smith… and here’s us thinking it was Lonnie Donnegan!
