Earlier this year, US soul entrepreneur REGI MYRIX teamed up with supreme soul stylist LAMAR KELSEY to deliver a powerful, contemporary soul groove, ’If You Don’t Mind’. In its original, and then Nigel Lowis mix, it was a soul chart rider and won plenty of plays.
The good news is that the duo are back together for an equally powerful and hard hitting cut – ‘Make Me Fall’ .The cut moves along with lashings of latent soul energy and there’s an 80s/90s East coast vibe going down. It’s a good ‘un – and shows the power of soul biz experience (Regi) and full on soul commitment (Lamar).
We believe that ‘Make Me Fall’ will be good to go via Bandcamp from this Friday, 25th August with general release from 1st September. Looking forward, there’s a Myrix/Kelsey EP on the way with the intriguing title, ‘Souladelica’!
