It was just last month that German modern soul collective PRIVATPROJEKT stormed the soul charts and the dance floors with their tight and beaty ‘Don’t Walk That Way’ single. Marshalled by synth man Michel Reckhard, the band seemed to have found a knack to channel that classy, authentic modern soul sound.
Now in the absolute modern way, ‘Don’t Walk That Way’ is back with us in two new mixes…. the first from Nigel Lowis (who played guitar on the original take), the second from the ever-reliable J*Ski and you know, they’re both equally fine… better than the original?
