That doyen of UK soul labels – Dome – has some exciting new albums lined up over the next few weeks. First up, there’s ‘Release’ from HIL ST SOUL. The singer’s last two albums were never officially available in the UK and this set includes the US hits ‘Pieces’, ‘Hey Boy’ and the fab cover of ‘Until You Come Back To Me’. BRENDA RUSSELL’S ‘In The Thick Of It’ is another retrospective – a collection of the acclaimed writer/performer’s biggest hits, to include the searing original version of ‘Get Here’.
