Back in 2016 (yes that long ago!) modern soul connoisseurs were in thrall to the ‘Colours’ album from UK based soul collective THE DOGGETT BROTHERS. Led by (real) brothers Carl and Greg Doggett the Doggett’s album spawned a plethora of modern soul dancers and a cleverly time-tabled series of remixes kept interest alive.

Well if you’ve missed any of those remixes the Doggetts have just released a four track EP that pulls together three of the best of the remodelling. First up there’s Opolopo’s master remix of ‘Outta Control’; then there’s T-Groove’s rework of ‘Hotter’ featuring Laura Jackson, and, thirdly, album favourite ‘You Make Me Feel’ with ever dependable Kenny Thomas at the mic. Doggett fans might already have the cuts so to tempt them, the brothers have included a fourth cut –a brand new “exclusive to this EP only” Gambit electro soul remix of ‘Our Time’
