Though details are sketchy, US news sources are reprting the recent death of soul and disoc singer, DIVA GRAY.
The native New Yorker was active on the 70s and 80s and fist became known as a session singer working with people like Luther Vandross, David Bowie and Chic. In the late 70s she formed a duo – Diva Gray and Oyster who released an eponymous LP in 1979. It was a mix of funk and disco tunes and highlighted Ms Gray’s powerhouse vocal style.
