For the last year or so we’ve been enthusiastically tracking the progress of blue eyed soulstress DIANE MARSH. She’s enjoyed an impressive string of UK soul charts hits …. ‘I’m Stuck On U’, ‘I Want Your Body (LOCKDOWN) and ‘It’s OK To Be OK’ amongst them.
We’ve long been promised a full album and at last that LP, ‘Invade My Space’ is officillay with us. You won’t be surprised to know that the singles are featured on the album and that the (mainly) optimistic, up-beat sound of (most of) those singles is the album’s overriding flavour.
The set begins In great style with ‘I Got The Love’ with Diane brining in the track with an enthusiastic “Ready, Steady, Go”. A little more sedate and a tad more soulful is ‘I’m Taken’ – one of the album’s highlights as is the extended mix of ‘Don’t Rush It’(with input from Mather).
