DEEP TENOR CITY is production duo DAN STILLIT and OLI SAVILL and apart from making music they host their own Tenor City radio show on Back2backfm.

Oli is a respected percussionist and has been working the London music scene since 1992, working notably with Basement Jaxx and Reel People, now teamed up with Dan, the duo are crafting their own special brand of dance music that is hard to pin down…. jazzy, Latino, funky, Afro-centric, soulful, housey … yep, it’s all that and more!

Hear their very special brew on their latest release an infectious dance cut simply called ‘Oba’. Out now on bbe Records, the tune comes in the usual plethora of mixes. The original is highly percussive but the taste makers seem to be going for the Opolopo mix. Clocking in at nearly 8 minutes, the Hungarian mix meister retains all the great percussive elements but just takes the pace up a tad while letting everything ride over one of his famous loping bass lines!
