A preacher’s son from Richmond, Virginia, Michael Eugene Archer is better known to the world as the Grammy-winning D’ANGELO, a multi-talented but enigmatic R&B auteur who has only released three studio albums in a solo career that stretches back to 1995 (the most recent being 2014’s ‘Black Messiah’).
In June, D’Angelo makes a rare trip to the UK, where he’ll perform four shows. The mini-tour begins in Bristol on Sunday the 17th June, followed by Manchester a day later, and then London’s Brixton Academy on Wednesday 20th (which has been added as an extra concert due to public demand). D’Angelo’s UK sojourn concludes at the Eventime Apollo, also in London, on Thursday 21st June.
