CONNOR SELBY is an up and coming talent on the UK blues scene. He has been voted “Young Artist of the Year” at the UK Blues Awards for the last three consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022) and he’s already played some prestigious gigs  –  including Wembley Stadium, where he opened for The Who in July 2019 and has since gone on to play BST Hyde Park, London, on a bill with Pearl Jam, Stereophonics and Johnny Marr in the summer of 2022.

In 2021 Connor self-released his debut album. The eponymous album was well received by the UK blues community and such has been the interest that the Provogue/Mascot Label Group will be re-releasing in in March. The new issue will feature four new songs, one of which, a searing ‘I Shouldn’t Care’ has just been released as a single. The song is classic, contemporary blues and shows why young Connor has won so many  blues awards. There’s biting guitar, a melancholic vocal and soul-drenched Hammond  stabs that recall the sounds of Booker T.
