It was back in autumn 2019 when JUAN LAYA AND JORGE MONTIEL (the duo at the heart of Los Charlys Orchestra) released their ‘Give Me the Night’ EP. The re-working of the George Benson classic was obviously the focus track but another cut grabbed plenty of attention too. It was the jazzy, Brazilian flavoured ‘Fly Me With You’ complete with a lovely, lithe vocal from UK singer Heidi Vogel.
Now three years down the line the tune is back with us in a sparkling new mix from Opolopo. The Euro mix meister cranks things up a tad and uses his trademark bouncing, booming bass line while retaining the irresistible Brazilian flavour.
