JERMAINE LOCKHART is a US smooth jazz sax man who hails from Cleveland Ohio. He’s worked across genres but most notably has shared stages with people like Earl Klugh, The Crusaders, Stanley Turrentine, Roy Ayers, Jeff Lorber, Angela Bofill, Pieces of a Dream, Bob James and George Benson who says: “Jermaine Lockhart is an artist that comes along every once in a while. When you hear him play, it’s something very striking – so that the next time you hear him, you’ll know that there is something very familiar about his sound”
Hear if you agree with George by checking out Jermaine’s latest single – a jaunty, uplifting ‘Back To The Sunshine’ –a tune he co-wrote with soul entrepreneur, Preston Glass. Musically, it’s a classic smooth-jazz, soul-based, sax-led soul groove with femme chorus and it’s out on Soulmusic Records on 7th February.
