It was the back end of last year when we were told that TERRI WALKER was working with Joe Buhdha on a new EP. The news came via the release of ‘Breakout’ – which is actually the EP’s title track, and, at last, the full 6 track mini album is ready to go…. though “6” isn’t quite accurate as each song comes in all kinds of mixes.
Even without the different mixes the musical menu is varied – I mean the title cut draws its inspiration from reggae, while ‘OK’ is a big, boogie style beater. The ballad comes in the shape of ‘Come Over’ – here Terri proves that she’s still a soul contender while the oddly titled ‘Ulla’ is another sweetie.
The EP is out now and a vinyl version is due in June!
