French dance music maestro BOB SINCLAR is set to release a greatest hits set… but, as you’d expect from Monsieur S, he’s decided to do it a little differently. To create the 13 tracker BOB decamped to Jamaica – more specifically to the legendary Anchor studio in Kingston – the hangout of the even more legendary ROBBIE SHAKESPEARE and SLY DUNBAR. The duo were enlisted to provide the rhythms to brand new reggae-flavoured versions of all of BOB’S biggest tunes, including ‘Love Generation’, ‘Peace Song’ and ‘Kiss My Eyes’ while the album’s featured vocalists include SHAGGY, CAMILLE LEFORT, QUEEN IFRICA and GARY PINE who takes lead on the LP’s most soulful cut ‘Give A Lil’ Love’. SINCLAR’S legions of dance fans will be surprised and, we’re sure, delighted at the new twists on old favourites. ‘BOB SINCLAR with SLY and ROBBIE – MADE IN JAMAICA’ is out now on Yellow Productions.
