Fancy something a little different this weekend? Then maybe think about visiting lovely North Wales…. the pretty market town of Mold to be precise … which hosts its fourth Blues and Soul Festival over the weekend 4th – 6th August.
The action takes place in Kendricks Field in the heart of the town and visitors can enjoy dozens of Blues and Soul stars from around the world. Topping the bill are Laura Harman, a big fave of Huey Morgan, and Hamilton Loomis …Texas-born protégé of RnB elder statesman Bo Diddley.
Amongst the other artists are John O’Leary & Sugarkane, Connie Lush, Stevie Nimmo Trio, Greg Coulson, the John Verity Band, Alexis Evans, and Deep in the Top, Colin Hinds Band, Liam Ward Band and Delta Radio.
Festival organizer Charlie Broadhurst of Event Sound Ltd said: “This is our fourth year and the event is increasingly becoming a must-do summer fixture here.”
