Soul legend BETTY WRIGHT is set to make her debut UK performance – showcasing her recent album ‘Betty Wright: The Movie’ which was co-produced by AHMIR “QUESTLOVE” THOMPSON of THE ROOTS and ANGELO MORRIS.
The Clean Up Woman plays the HMV Ritz in Manchester on 10th July and the Jazz Café in London on 11th, 12th and 13th July. She’ll be supported by a full band and though she will be featuring songs from her most recent LP (which of course features great collaborations with SNOOP DOGG, L’IL WAYNE, LENNY WILLIAMS and JOSS STONE – whom BETTY mentored through her early career), you can also expect plenty of her classics.
