Reggae is THE music of Jamaica, of course but Minneapolis-born JR THOMAS and his band the VOLCANOS are currently making big waves across the reggae scene with their début album, ‘Beware’.
Released on Truth and Soul Records, the 14 tracker is out now and the music echoes the classic reggae sound of the 60s and 70s. Soul folk with a penchant for the laid-back side of reggae could do worse than connect with the sweet ‘Burning Fire’ – shades of the great Aswad!
