Just last month DON-E celebrated his 30 years in the business with an album imaginatively called ‘30’.
One of the focus cuts was the tight little dance groove, ‘Luv U Longtime’ which featured a catchy, organic Brit rap from Top Cat. Now we know lots of soul fans aren’t that keen on rapping interludes in their music so good old Mr McLean (Don-E) has just released a “no rap” edit which trims 40 seconds off the original and guess what? It’s already winning plenty of plays and support… it’s out now!
