Musical superlatives are redundant when it comes to describing B.B. KING. He is quite simply a legend – one of the few who truly merits that accolade. The good news is that he’s just announced a trio of live concerts in the UK – in Manchester, Edinburgh and London.
The Manchester show is scheduled for the city’s O2 Apollo venue on Saturday June 25th. The following day (26th) he travels to the Edinburgh Playhouse then on Tuesday he headlines London’s Royal Albert Hall as part of the inaugural London Blues Fest. On all dates KING will be supported by AVERY SUNSHINE
Other artists appearing at the London Blues Fest include DR JOHN, BOOKER T, ROY HARGROVE, LIZA MINNELLI, AL DI MEOLA, KIRK WHALUM, GEORGIE FAME, INCOGNITO and RAMSEY LEWIS who will be recreating his ‘Sun Goddess’ album live.
