Last month we highlighted a steamy, soulful single from London-based singer BASHIYRA. The tune, ‘Just Can’t Be Wrong’, from the lady’s 2015-due long player on Herb Middleton’s NuVybe label, won the hearts of, shall we say, the “more traditional” soul fans fed up with the usual, clichéd tunes that masquerade as soul.
Said “traditionalists” will be delighted to know that the song is soon to be made available in two new, sparkling remixes. First there’s a catchy, gimmick-free tweak from Mr. Bashiyra (Cosmo); then a great, crisp re-work from the Soultalk crew….. proper modern soul, if you would!
