It was back in May when we enjoyed some ‘Kool Funk’ from the SUPER DB BAND. We learned that the 4 piece hail from, London… twin brothers J-M Sutcliffe (Guitars & vocals), J-P Sutcliffe (Drums, vocals, keys & percussion), Lorenzo Bassignani (Bass) and Matt Dibble (Keys, vocals, sax & clarinet) and that they described their sound as “a distinctive mix of pop, disco, funk, rock and jazz”… a good summation of their ‘Kool Funk’ tune.
Now man about music, CHRIS BANGS has been allowed to remix the tune and he comes up with two new tweaks…. “synth club” and “supercool club” that make the original a little more radio friendly and certainly more club friendly! Out next week.
