It was back in May, that ANTHONY HAMILTON made a very welcome comeback with ‘Back Together’ – a lovely, sensual, head nodder built around a sample from Rick James’ and Teena Marie’s ‘Fire and Desire.’
The tune was acclaimed by proper soul connoisseurs but it kind of sneaked under some folks’ radar so if you missed it first time around Mr H is now offering his little gem in a new “Quiet Storm” mix which retains all the sensuality of the original while adding a little acoustic tweak. Producer Kelvin Woolten retains the gentle Rick James interjections too and the track is good to go right now via Anthony’s own My Music box label.
