BACK TOGETHER AGAIN!

Last year, the soul world was enraptured by the class and quality of Ms  CARMY LOVE. From  out of nowhere, it seems , she  floored us with her  magnificent debut single, ‘Thinkin’ About You’. The follow up was the equally ab fab modern soul groove, ‘Rebel’. The two songs were joyous, uplifting affairs which betrayed Carmy’s Gospel background.

It’s been a while, but thank goodness, Carmy’s back with us with another top notch contemporary soul cut – ‘Together Again’. Like her previous work it’s so good that it reminds you of why you got mixed up in this crazy soul world in the first place. It will also remind you of plenty of soul classics – a hint of Bobby Womack, a touch of Keni Burke, a garnish of Leroy Hutson and a lot more! Yep, it’s that good! But it’s uniquely Carmy and, boy, does she mean business! She sings her soul socks off, backed by heavy brass, a lush string arrangement and some sweet, whispered backing vocals,

Written by label boss and soul anorak Nick Corbin and produced by Mitch Ayling, Carmy’s Together Again’ is released digitally this Friday, 30th September. Don’t miss it …  and Big AC Records will be putting it out on vinyl soon. Carmy’s previous vinyl sold out on pre-release, so keep your eyes on https://www.bigacrecords.com/
