Soul fans are urged to visit a new website devoted to the life and music of the late AUGIE JOHNSON, the legendary co-founder of the ’70s and ’80s Los Angeles-based R&B group, SIDE EFFECT, and whose credits as a supporting vocalist range from Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand to Michael Jackson and Johnny Mathis.
The site is the brainchild of Johnson’s fiancée Cat Le Dey and his daughter, Tishema Cromwell, and is intended to celebrate Augie’s life and work.
